My name is Beau Borrero, and I have been teaching and tutoring the ACT and SAT since 1989. For more than 10 years, I worked with the Princeton Review as a tutor, teacher trainer, site director, and curriculum writer, and I have been tutoring students independently for over two decades. Many of my students have improved their ACT scores by over 7 points and their SAT scores by over 300 points. With hard work and dedication, massive score improvements are possible.
I myself am evidence of this: in high school, I worked diligently at the ACT, raised my score 7 points, and was accepted to Yale. But it's not just me – last year I had a student who was investigated by The College Board because her score went up 490 points between June and October. That’s the kind of investigation I like, and it has happened to many of my students.
I am a devoted pupil of the ACT and SAT, and I love teaching students how to approach these standardized tests. These are coachable, beatable tests; all you need is the right coach and a solid work ethic. Over the years I’ve worked with thousands of students and have developed the most effective, efficient, and powerful SAT and ACT strategies available anywhere.
